WAAA is being developed with the help of volunteers and AI academies to service the needs of its members and to be a “one stop” location to for the AI academies and training institutions collaborating to train the “army ” of AI entrepreneurs needed to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).The intention is that members will collaborate to compile a pool of existing training courses and training resources that can be shared by all members . it is also expected that 17 new AI courses that will be jointly developed by Ai academies in collaboration with external experts to cover the 17 SDGs. These will show AI entrepreneurs how to they could develop the thousands of products and servicesthat will be needed by the 2.5 billion population in the developing world who will be coming on line in the next few years . In adition to the 17 courses specifically focussed on the SDGs t, there wil be 12-15 courses targeted at the key underserved groups
This will enable members to increase significantly the numbers of AI trainees and hence their incomes Once fully operational we will expect / want members to participate in identifying the sorts of services that will be most useful to them. For the present , the volunteer management team have identified a few topics that we think will be most useful for our members.
