The AI revolution and technological disruptions that are now underway will result in an explosion in demand for AI enhanced products and services This along with the technologicl disruptions in 5 foundational sectors, will allow opportunities for AI enhancement of millions of existing products and services and also enable development of millions of totally new AI products and services in those key sectors and related industries.
In addition, another 2.5 billion people in the developing world are likely to be connected to internet in the next few years, creating a totally new multi billion person market for digital products and services that can meet their needs. This offers AI entrepreneurs numerous opportunities to build lucrative products and services to meet the needs of these under served billions and, in some cases, to make very large fortunes. Some of these products and services are potential goldmine opportunities and can be developed even by non programmers using no or low code paltforms.
AI Academies will benefit from massive increases in numbers of AI trainees and hence income, if they can make potential AI entrepreneurs aware of such opportunities to encourage them to do relevant AI training courses. The current volunteer team developing the WAAA website is closely involved in efforts to narrow the Digital Divide, to implement the SDGs and in researching / writing about the impacts of technological disruption. We are therefore more aware and knowledgeable about the likely AI products and services that will be needed as the underserved communities come online in different regions of the World. We will be able to share such information and insights with WAAA Members so that they can mobilise and encourage even more AI entrepreneurs to undergo AI training
