This website has been developed to provide a “one stop shop” for AI Academies collaborating to share existing AI training courses and resources and to jointly develop new AI training courses and use cases specifically to train AI entrepreneurs to help deliver the SDGs .
We want to make this a “club” where AI academy staff can come to catch up on the latest developments and AI tools through our RSS feeds, browse through our general resources section , recently published documents of relevance, etc and join in the discussions and interactions with similar AI Academies from around the world
To show potential WAAA members the sorts of benefits they will receive from WAAA membership we have provided access to a downloadable list of 170 unique AI products and services needed to serve the 2.5 billion people who are currently unserved but who will be coming online in the next few years. This provides useful information on AI products and services that could make the next generation of $ millionaires. This can be used by AI academies to encourage potential AI trainees to do the required training at their AI academies to become AI entrepreneurs Potential WAAA members can use this to assess whether membership of WAAA and access to similar lists and other member services would be beneficial for their academy. .
For paid up WAAA members, the website will eventually offer many additional benefits by providing access to a restricted “member services” section. This will be populated and managed by the member AI academies and experts and is expected to include the shared training courses , use cases and other resources such as downloadable pre recorded video lectures by leading AI experts for use by ai academies within their courses . It will include the 17 jointly developed AI courses ( each course focussed on the specific types of products and services needed to make progress on each of the 17 SDGs). It will also include AI courses for AI entrepreneurs targeted at developing products and services to serve the needs of different disadvantaged groups e.g. how can indigenous groups be served with products and services to get benefit from AI ? , What products and services would help subsistence farmers to benefit from AI ? , What producst or services could help rural communities benefit from AI ?
