The WAAA is intended to eventually become a professional body to serve the needs and to support the activities of AI academies around the world
The frontier Large language Model companies ( Open AI , XAI , Meta , Anthropic etc ) and other Big Tech companies ( Google , Microsofft , Amazon etc) and many others developing AI tools, platforms and systems will recognise the merit of establishing an international umbrella body to oversee and develop the capability and knowledge base of AI academies. AI academies are the main and most important channel through which their products, models, tools and platforms will become known and familiar to the individuals who will be the main users of such products
AI Trainees will get “hands on” experience and familiarity in use of such tools and systems as part of their AI training and this will make them aware and more likely to apply such products. Hence it is in the interests of Big Tech to have a strong and viable network of AI academies as potential partners continuously showcasing their products to potential users around the world
Organisations supporting the efforts of WAAA to develop and strengthen AI academies can become corporate “sponsors” by providing support via donations of money or services in kind. WAAA Is grateful for such support and our sponsors are invited to contact WAAA management to become a sponsor .
