Once WAAA website is fully operational and WAAA membership has grown sufficiently, fully paid up members will be consulted and given opportunities to decide on how the WAAA association will be governed. They will also be able to select its leadership and officers and help decide what membership services should be available.
Until then, leadership and recruitment will continue to be done on a day to basis by Dr Alan Ross and a small. team of volunteers from AI academies representing different regions of the world and helping to recruit AI academies in their regions
The current leadership of WAAA has been having regular discussions with the UN endorsed World Digital Technology Academy ( WDTA) whose mission is to promote sustainable development of the digital economy and achieve inclusive digital technology for all. It may be that the WAAA could collaborate with or work in partnership with the DigiBridge division of WDTA as that might enable more resources to be made available for further development and membership expansion of WAAA.
